Hilltop House is owned and operated by Oakleaf Care (Hartwell) Ltd. The Joint Managing Directors of Oakleaf Care (Hartwell) Ltd are Ian Mosley (registered manager) and Clark Gilkes (responsible person)

It is proposed that Hilltop House is operated as a 9 bedded unit providing nursing and personal care for clients with an acquired brain injury including up to two clients with additional physical disablities requiring the use of wheelchairs.
Hilltop House will offer long term placements to males within the 25-65 years age ranges. The home is restricted to male only residents to allow for shortfalls in social skills and personal boundary setting. Residents will be encouraged to develop relationships at all levels, both within and away from the unit as appropriate.
Referrals will be expected from purchasers seeking long term placements, and slow stream rehabilitation for clients who have suffered an acquired brain injury, and have undergone a period of behavioural, functional and cognitive rehabilitation. Clients will be expected to have majority behavioural control, yet still retain elements that would prohibit them from being sought an alternative replacement.
The experience and qualifications of the care team will enahnce the ability of Hilltop House to deliver quality care for clients with secondary/associated conditions, both pre and post injury.
Clients will be offered a long term placement with emphasis being placed on maintaing current functioning, client choice, quality of life and social reintegration. Hilltop House will be operated in the Hope that clients consider it as their home, and will be encouraged to make decisions about the home's development.
