DIMS has 3 parts:

Part 1 The Contact Manager.
Contact information is entered on to the system using the interface shown in the image below. This is the searchable by various fields such as contact forename, contact surname, contact company and contact address. This allows for anyone to find a contact with even just one piece of information - critical if you don't want to rely on key staff to hold all the critical information.

Part 2 The Template Manager
In this day and age appearance, and professionalism counts for a lot. Having different staff producing the same document in a different way not only doesn't look good, but also can lead to data integrity issues but vastly increases the time required to locate documents.

The Template manager holds a master template for all of your documents centrally so that everyone's documents have exactly the same look, content and layout as each other. New templates can be added by authorised staff which are then immediately available for use system wide.

The Template Manager works with the Contact Manager. Once you have found the contact you wish to communicate with, select the relevant template and DIMS automatically fills in all the relevant fields with the contacts information saving valuable time and preventing spelling errors.

Part 3 Memo Manager
This is an internal communicator designed to send popup post-it notes to other users. Very effective for passing messages to people who are in meetings or on the phone and saves interrupting people. This is considerably faster than email for small messages.
